With the Portugieser, IWC created such an icon almost 80 years ago. Today, the Portugieser Automatic perfectly expresses the classic design elements of this family of watches, such as the applied Arabic numerals, the “chemin de fer” type small parts and the elegant leaf hands. This version features a silver dial, rhodium-plated hands and applied elements. The watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured 52010 caliber movement. Equipped with a Pellaton automatic refill system with practically wear-free ceramic components, it accumulates a 7-day power reserve thanks to two barrels. The internal mechanisms are visible through the sapphire caseback.
