The Clifton Baumatic presents the first Baume & Mercier manufacture movement.
The new movement was designed with the wearer in mind, with a five-day power reserve and 1500 Gauss anti-magnetic. It also has greater precision and is COSC certified (Contrôle Officielle Suisse des Chronomètres). Thanks to the greater reliability of the movement, it is possible to lengthen the intervals between one maintenance intervention and another, therefore the watch will have to be overhauled every 5 years, instead of every 3 years.
