The first watch born from the partnership with Aston Martin has been revealed. The Tourbillon with three flying bridges - Aston Martin Edition combines the watchmaking expertise of Girard-Perregaux with Aston Martin's unique knowledge of luxury and performance. We both demonstrate a passion for fine craftsmanship and have worked together, sharing their understanding of design, materials and technology. This latest model celebrates the iconic 19th century Three Bridges pocket watch in a decidedly contemporary way, down to the smallest detail, including the strap. Faithful to the Girard-Perregaux tradition, this model skilfully plays with proportions and shapes to the delight of aesthetes. The 44mm case of the Tourbillon with three flying bridges - Aston Martin Edition is made of grade 5 titanium, a durable and hypoallergenic alloy selected by Aston Martin for its lightweight properties. It is suffused with black DLC, giving the watch a stealthy look. While Girard-Perregaux has a long history of making the invisible visible, in this case he has ventured off the track, creating a watch whose movement appears to levitate within the case.
