The Portugieser Chronograph is one of IWC Schaffhausen's most iconic models. With its 41mm diameter it fits every wrist, however the slim bezel gives the impression of wearing a significantly larger watch. The clear and functional dial features applied Arabic numerals and elegant leaf hands. Characterized by a printed quarter-second scale, the réhaut not only allows a precise reading of the chronograph times, but also recalls the origins of the Portugieser, born as a nautical precision instrument. This model features an 18-carat red gold case, a silver-plated dial and applied gold hands and is complemented by a brown alligator leather strap. Inside the elegant sports chronograph beats the IWC-manufactured 69355 caliber. Precise and resistant, the classic design chronograph movement with column wheel is visible through the sapphire caseback.
