Paying homage to its tradition of diving watches, OMEGA launched the Planet Ocean collection in 2005. The elegant OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer GMT pays homage to OMEGA's diving watch heritage.

This model, fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, features a black ceramic dial with Arabic numerals, date window at 3 o'clock and a central GMT hand. The 43.5 mm stainless steel case mounts the brand new two-tone black and white glossy ceramic bezel, where the numerals and the graduated scale in contrasting colors help distinguish day from night.

Other features include a screw-down caseback with honeycomb pattern and a black leather strap with rubber coating.

The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer GMT is water resistant to 600 meters / 60 bar (2000 feet) and is equipped with a helium valve. The OMEGA Master Chronometer caliber 8906 that animates this timepiece is visible through the transparent caseback. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it passed the 8 strict tests established by METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
