The original OMEGA Railmaster from 1957 was a simple, practical and elegant timepiece designed for railway personnel or anyone working near electric fields. Today, this spirit of innovation is brought back in an updated model that once again enhances the potential of the Railmaster.

In this 40mm model, the symmetrical case is made of stainless steel with a wavy edge design on the back. The black dial with vertical brushed finish features brushed stainless steel hands and recessed indexes, filled with “vintage” Super-LumiNova. It also features the beige “Railmaster” application, which gives it a classic touch.

The watch features an integrated, fully brushed stainless steel bracelet, while the caseback features a NAIAD LOCK design (patent pending) that maintains the correct orientation of the text. The timepiece is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8806. Certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) to the highest standards set by the watch industry and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, this Railmaster recalls the amazing anti-magnetic qualities of its predecessor.
