"Dark Side of the Moon" Apollo 8

Having participated in all six moon landings in history, the legendary OMEGA Speedmaster is a true icon of space and the perfect expression of OMEGA's pioneering spirit.

In this 44.25mm model, the celebration of the Speedmaster's lunar history is achieved on the burnished movement by laser ablation that reproduces the surface of the Moon. The skeletonized burnished dial reveals the visible side of the satellite, while the dark side can be admired through the caseback.

Equipped with a perforated black leather strap with yellow rubber interior, the watch is made entirely of black ceramic. The design is completed by the yellow painted chronograph hands and the tachymeter scale in Super-LumiNova.

The internal movement, the OMEGA caliber 1869, boasts a special decoration, while the caseback is engraved with the inscriptions "APOLLO 8, DEC 1968", "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON" and "WE'LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE."
