If the adventures and achievements of the Apollo 8 astronauts inspired the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon model in black ceramic, it is the mystical halo of the Earth's night light and its ever-changing but constant presence that gave life to the Speedmaster Dark Side. of the Moon "Black Black".

This model, with a diameter of 44.25 mm, features a black ceramic case with polished and satin finishes, a matte black ceramic dial and a buckle, also in black ceramic, set on a black nylon-coated fabric strap.

This model is named after its Moonwatch-style brushed hands and applied indexes: both blackened, as well as coated in black Super-LumiNova. The subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock also exhibit a matte black tone and, again in the same color, the ceramic bezel features a black lacquered tachymeter scale. The case houses the OMEGA Co-Axial caliber 9300.
